Gerk Koopmans, conservator of the Mata Hari collection, visiting my home. To look at my projects for the exposition. Year- 2003 |
My girlfriend Marlou Hol. Only she can come home with such a terrible surprise, travelling home from her country of birth: Indonesia. She had Mata Hari’s name, on Bali ( eye of the day ) for me especially made. Its all cut out by hand. It has been fortunately also fixed by her on the photo, so that off now we also can enjoy. This also was the day of which my two girlfriends, Marlou and Linda of ' Clover 3 ', had approached Gerk Koopmans (conservator at the Fries Museum) for my project - that in full pace was promoted at him. An anniversary to never forget!

Result. Small in the miniature project and large at my collection! Marlou Hol thanks.

My books knipsels films etc, concerning Mata Hari |
Also my girlfriend Linda den Besten, has made a wonderful contribution to my project, 'Mata Hari'. On my 50th anniversary, she came with this splendid gift; a bridle bouquet! This she had copied, piece by piece and as an example she used Margaretha, Geertruida, Zelle's original wedding picture. Of course I was there enormously happy. My wedding couple now was complete!

The door is covered with photo graphics.
The case, with an image of the courtisane Carolna Otero, brought to me by Wendy, my daughter-in-law. Not de real Mata Hari, but nevertheless very nice.
